The Inti Raymi Fund is a non-profit organization, which helps people globally through self-empowerment projects, and by using this web site to raise awareness of the endless ways to help others.
The Inti Raymi Fund just returned from visiting the Zuni Reservation in New Mexico to discuss their community’s interests for their new IRF project. Kristy Lau and her mother Dinah Lau of Tulsa helped lead the expedition and research along with Chaski & Chimu plus additional family of Kristy Lau from the community. Dinah, who grew up in the Zuni Community, was a wonderfully insightful guide and reference for all of us while we collectively researched and visited with numerous people, existing facilities and were fortunate to be able to attend a sacred religious dance performance by the community elders and members of various Kivas.
The steering committee is researching their options for their contribution from the Inti Raymi Fund. Current options include but are not limited to: education, greater public access to computer wifi, artists support, sacred religious ceremonial support, creating a non-profit within the community as a self-help organization operated by the community, library upgrades, and many other considerations. As soon as a plan has been established and started, details will be provided.READ MORE
